South Australian Patriots and Supporters Who Have Passed On.

'Goose'

One of life's gentleman, Goose became a Patriot member in about 95.
He served as a medic in the army for 14 years  and saw action in the first Gulf War where he was awarded a Nursing Cross. Unfortunately for Goose he was  wounded in action and this resulted in a medical  discharge a few years later. When Goose joined the Patriots he was an absolute power house  and nothing was too hard, he was asset to the club in everyway possible. In 1997 he became the second President of Patriots South Australia. Goose was also a dedicated family man and a good friend to all Patriot members and is truly missed by all that knew him.                                       Mojo 2010.

'Whippy'

One of life's characters, Whippy was a member of the Viet Nam Veterans Motorcycle Club in South Australia and Victorian Chapter, he was our inspirational mentor for the Patriots in South Australia when it first kicked off back in 93/94. He served as a rigger in the Signal Corps during the Viet Nam War and spent time in both American and Australian units, he  became one of the rare Australian soldiers who was awarded a Purple Heart when he was wounded whilst serving with a US unit. He was totally committed to our cause and always helped with ready advice and a beer. Whippy was a dedicated family man and lived life to the fullest, worked hard but rode and partied harder. He was a good friend and he is truly missed.                      Mojo 2010
